We have already noted at the mayhem of 2011 Middle East-North Africa protests that Muammar Gaddafi fighting pro-Al-Qaeda Islamists is now replacing Ben Laden as incarnation of ‘absolute Evil’ in mainstream media. On May 1, 2011 we got a logical consequence of this political trend: President Obama has declared Osama dead.
Just imagine how the world would be happy with this news back in late 2001 or 2002! How many international TV networks would show us his breathless body savoring the details of the brilliant operation by a high-professional US special task force! And how sincerely would we congratulate our American partners with the condign punishment imposed on that villain!
And now, all we can tell is the following. The announcement is a desperate attempt by the US establishment to divert domestic and international attention from fiasco in Libya and emerging dollar collapse. As a matter of fact, on May 1, 2011 nothing happened to Osama bin Laden. Most probably he was killed back in 2001 or 2002 and since then merely used as a scarecrow in the global ‘counter-terrorism’ scheme. Maybe, but less probably, he lives calmly at his luxurious estate in Florida under false identity. What irrefutable facts make us think this way?
First, the photo of dead corpse of OBL is proven to be fake:
Second, the only option to explain the absence of his body was to bury him urgently in the sea. (We suggest that in order to make public believe in this story there could be a leakage in Wikileaks that the helicopter that mysteriously collapsed because of ‘technical failure’ during the operation was actually overloaded by a super-weight meant to be tied to OBL’s legs before sea-dropping).
Third, the announcement came at the very moment when the US had to encourage their running allies to take decision on land operation in Libya. May 2, 2011 was a critical day to finalize the talks (details here). Muammar Gaddafi safely escaped the last mortal strike on April 30 (although lost his youngest son with his children), so the land operation became the last hope for global elites.
So what is the meaning of political death of the OBL Project in May 2011?
First, Al-Qaeda-centered ‘war against terrorism’ has come to the crossroads. There are two options: either since today we will start learning the name of Anwar al-Awlaki, a 40-years old Yemeni who is believed to lead Al-Qaeda, and subsequently the US troops are to land at the Yemeni territory soon ‘to trace and eradicate new dangerous terrorist network’, or, most probably, the United States are on the eve of a new 9/11-type provocation that would trigger another global bugaboo comparing to which late OBL would look like a subtle well-mannered gentleman.
Second, the United States has already well-established and rooted in Afghanistan having achieved a comprehensive deal with Taliban on the areas and traffic routes under control. They have around 40 military installations in Afghanistan and workable infrastructure to secure heroin distribution throughout Eurasia. Formal pretext for their presence not needed any more.
Third, it proves the zugzwang situation for Barack Obama. Nations and people run off the US dollar. Gaddafi stands firm. The perspective of the second term is fading out. And he is playing off his last ace. The best time for the announcement already made as far as Obama electoral campaign is concerned would be the middle of 2012. Today it is not for the victory. It is for survival…
‘Do not make us live in times of Change’ says a wise Chinese proverb. Unfortunately so we do.
