According to media report on 29 August 2011, Algerian foreign ministry in a statement confirmed the arrival of the Gaddafi family members, which it said happened 29 August in morning, and said that Libya’s Transitional National Council and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon had been informed. Muammar Gaddafi’s daughter Aicha, who has arrived in Algeria with the Libyan strongman’s wife Safia, two of his sons Mohamed and Hannibal and other members of his inner circle, is heavily pregnant.
