Right now the Venezuelan people find themselves locked into a vicious cycle of ill-conceived human systems collapsing into violent in-fighting, in the face of the earth system crisis erupting beneath them. It is not yet too late for the rest of the world to learn a lesson. Venezuela should function as a warning sign as to what can happen when we bury our heads in the (oil) sands.
Venezuela’s economic fundamentals are very weak after years of withstanding the US’ Hybrid War onslaught, so it might not even take all that much to throw the country into a qualitatively new level of crisis that could ultimately lead to its collapse. The chances of regime change taking place in Venezuela are higher than at any time before.
